Job summary

CF Industries in Claremore, OK, is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician for the Verdigris Plant. This safety-sensitive role focuses on the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of instruments, automation systems and electrical distribution, reporting to the Supervisor of I&E and working onsite.

You will calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair control systems, tune loops, maintain valves and actuators, and support project work across the plant while upholding strict safety

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in process instrumentation and control systems.
• Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with HART instrumentation, DCS, and BMS is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety standards and participate in safety programs.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic instruments and control systems.
• Improve safety and efficiency by tuning control loops and maintaining valves and actuators.
• Maintain and install electrical systems and motors, including voltages up to 4160 VAC.
• Support project documentation and procurement for I&E infrastructure.
