Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting: analyzing cost reporting results and variances, identifying trends, recommending actions.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial metrics in a manufacturing organization.
• Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to influence at various levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the plant financial reporting, spend management, annual budgeting, variance investigation, financial modeling, and productivity forecasting.
• Ensures that the plant team operates with a high level of fiscal integrity in accounting practices, financial reporting and decision making.
• Collaborates with plant leadership team to provide financial impact analyses and recommendations on cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Supports all plant initiatives for capital and non-capital projects by validating cost assumptions and productivity savings.
• Contributes ideas to improve long-term strategic initiatives and day-to-day productivity on the plant floor.
• Partners with Commercial Finance to develop new product costing models and assess productivity impact of startups.
