Job summary

Shearer's Foods, Inc. in Massillon, OH is seeking a Senior Regional Maintenance Manager who will lead maintenance strategy across five manufacturing sites in North America, focusing on asset reliability, preventive maintenance, and reducing unplanned downtime.

You will partner with regional leadership, drive safety and environmental compliance, and develop the maintenance team while managing budgets and coordinating with engineering and external vendors. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Nine years in maintenance leadership within GMP-regulated food manufacturing.
• Experience with fixed and rotating equipment and reliability maintenance.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance strategy across five North American sites to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
• Plan, execute, and document preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Provide leadership through coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Collaborate with quality, health and safety, and manufacturing operations.
• Partner with external vendors and engineering teams to implement best practices.
• Develop and optimize site maintenance procedures and standards to support safe operations.
• Oversee site shutdown planning to minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance budgets and drive cost-effective solutions.
• Establish and improve leading indicators for maintenance performance.
