Job summary

Mevion Medical Systems in Littleton, MA seeks a Planner II to manage end-to-end planning for complex medical systems and service assemblies. You will translate MRP outputs, engineering releases, and SIOP commitments into executable production plans to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to balance schedules, material readiness, and execution risk, driving improvements in planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing planning.
• 3–6 years of experience in production planning or supply chain execution.
• Experience in engineered-to-order, project-based, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite).
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic data analysis).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system-level production plans aligned to SIOP and master schedules.
• Create, release, and manage work orders, jobs, and build packages in ERP/MRP systems.
• Plan and sequence production activities across manufacturing cells, commissioning, and test phases.
• Own material readiness for assigned systems, including long-lead components.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on PO placement, expediting, and supplier recovery actions.
• Maintain planning parameters and BOM alignment with engineering configurations.
• Serve as the primary planning interface for assigned systems or service programs.
