Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• 1–2 years of internship or apprenticeship experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients during treatments and report progress.
• Fit patients for braces, prostheses, or crutches.
• Instruct patients and families in exercise and equipment use.
• Clean work area and store equipment after treatment.
• Confer with staff to plan or modify treatment.
• Document treatments and notes.
