Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I for our Fort Myers, FL site. This onsite role supports patient blood collection and specimen preparation with attention to safety and accuracy. Work hours are 8 hours daily, 5 days a week, with weekend coverage as required.

Under supervision, you will collect samples from diverse patients, document activities, and uphold confidentiality while providing a reassuring, professional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a calm, trusting environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Perform duties under supervision and ensure safe, professional practices.
