Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 5-month contract in Rock Hill, SC. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and delivering patient-focused service in a fast-paced setting.

Onsite schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and flexibility to travel to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.
• High school diploma required; medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labels post-venipuncture to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and project a positive image to patients and staff.
