Job summary

Procon is seeking an experienced Onsite Construction Project Manager to support the construction of a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lebanon, Indiana. This full-time, onsite role interfaces with the A/E team, contractors, commissioning personnel, and stakeholders to oversee construction activities and ensure conformance to design and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience on large projects.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, codes, and QA/QC; familiarity with cleanrooms and controlled environments.
• Ability to work onsite in Lebanon, Indiana.
• Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an onsite Construction Project Manager and A/E Representative, providing daily oversight of construction activities.
• Perform onsite field observations and inspections of pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory, process, utility, and controlled-environment construction.
• Evaluate construction activities for conformance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
• Inspect installation of cleanrooms, HVAC, piping, electrical systems, controls, and critical utilities.
• Monitor and document deficiencies, non-conforming work, and field conditions requiring correction.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, A/E disciplines, and commissioning teams to resolve issues.
• Lead meetings, prepare minutes, track actions, and ensure resolution of open items.
• Maintain thorough field documentation for traceability in a regulated facility.
