Job summary

i-Pharm GxP is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Construction Engineer to support field execution on a high-profile, highly regulated pharmaceutical project in Indiana. This on-site, 12-month contract role requires oversight of electrical and control systems installation, testing, and turnover while coordinating across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction on industrial or life sciences projects.
• Ability to support field execution, resolve technical issues, and coordinate installation activities.
• Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and turnover processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for electrical and instrumentation construction activities in the field.
• Coordinate with E&I supervisors, foremen, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Support planning, sequencing, and installation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Ensure safe, compliant installation per drawings, specs, and requirements.
• Support pre-commissioning activities including energization readiness and loop testing.
• Report field issues, technical progress, and turnover documentation clearly.
• Assist client walkdowns, inspections, and system handover activities.
