Job summary

UNC Health in Eden, NC seeks a Physical Therapist I to provide evidence-based evaluation, treatment, and education for patients with diverse diagnoses. The role includes student shadowing, clinical instruction, and participation in department meetings and community education.

You will manage a daily caseload, document and bill per guidelines, and contribute to program planning. No prior experience is required; NC license and BLS within 3 months are expected. Per diem, onsite schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
• BLS within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Completes physical therapy documentation, billing, and statistics per team guidelines.
• Administers tests and measures to establish a plan of care and interventions; communicates information for continuity of care.
• Mentors assistive personnel and delegates responsibilities per licensing board guidelines.
• Provides clinical precepting and teaching for students and/or staff.
• Assists in planning and coordinating clinical programs and participates in continuous improvement in clinical services.
