Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to work onsite in Phoenix on process-plant instrumentation and control systems. The role includes troubleshooting, hosting equipment changes, and leading startup activities across electrical and instrumentation packages.

The candidate will coordinate with vendors and customers, perform design reviews, and support commissioning and validation efforts to ensure safe, compliant plant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing instrumentation packages for industrial plants.
• Ability to specify process plant instruments and select instrumentation.
• Knowledge of control hardware for process plant instrumentation.
• Capable of setup and calibration verification of instrumentation.
• Familiar with LV electrical distribution and NEC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work as an onsite PCIS Engineer in a process plant environment in Phoenix.
• Troubleshoot power and control system issues and repair/replace electrical components.
• Execute approved process or equipment changes and upgrades.
• Own system ownership for equipment or technology area as needed.
• Lead electrical startup of process and packing equipment.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
