Job summary

Convergenz is hiring two full-time Data Entry Clerks to support a government client’s Payroll and Benefits Operations in Washington, DC. This is a short-term W2 contract through the end of February 2027 and is fully onsite in Washington, DC.

The role involves handling high-volume payroll paperwork, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, tax changes, and benefits deductions, with data entry into payroll systems and day-to-day Payroll/Benefits support.

Qualifications

• Data Entry / Office Experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of data entry experience.
• Minimum 3 years processing work within a professional office.
• Minimum 3 years of office management experience.
• Experience handling customer service responsibilities and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Personnel Processing: review paperwork, enter and update employee data, process changes.
• Research & Validation: review payroll and personnel documents, resolve issues with staff.
• Administrative Support: sort/file documents, handle high-volume paperwork, use Outlook/Word.
