Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to stay alert for extended periods and monitor patient safety.
• Clear verbal communication to calm patients and convey information to the RN.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation of assigned patient(s).
• Monitor for changes and promptly inform the RN of concerns.
• Assist with feeding as directed by the RN and support patient needs.
• Document care and observations as required and provide detailed handoff information.
• Assist in patient fall events according to hospital procedures.
