Responsibilities

• Patient Access staff will assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity / compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information, process orders, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents as required.
• Screen eligibility in insurance verification system and support POS and billing processes.
• Pre-register patient accounts and communicate with patients about financial responsibilities.
