Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for an on-site role at HSHS St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL.

The position offers shifts from 7 am–7 pm (three days) or 10 am–10 pm (three days) with onsite work and growth opportunities including bonuses and certifications. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of customer service experience and are open to innovation including AI to improve patient and client experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and collect insurance information, pre-registration and POS collections.
• Review insurance eligibility and ABN software to inform Medicare patients of potential non-payment.
• Explain consent forms and provide patient education documents.
• Ensure quality auditing and reporting to support POS and billing processes.
• Provide excellent customer service during all patient and physician interactions.
