Job summary

Ensemble is seeking an entry-level Patient Access Specialist at Children’s Minnesota Minneapolis Hospital. You will perform admitting duties, verify insurance, collect demographics, and guide patients through forms with a focus on accuracy and care.

The role requires 1+ year of customer service, a High School diploma, and CRCR certification within nine months. On-site shifts include days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays in Minneapolis, MN.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Inquisitive and open to AI-driven process improvements.
• CRCR certification due within 9 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity checks.
• Verify insurance, collect information, and process physician orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and meet POS / audit standards.
• Operate switchboard and handle inbound/outbound calls.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education materials.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and document as required.
