Job summary

Optum seeks a Multi Patient Task List Agent to support the Main Admitting and MPTL Department at Glendale Memorial Hospital in GLENDALE, CA. You will manage patient admissions, transfers and discharges, and perform eligibility verifications in a fast-paced setting.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year hospital registration experience, and onsite work 4 days a week from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Sign-on bonus offered for external applicants. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1+ years of experience in hospital patient registration, physician office, healthcare insurance, revenue cycle related roles.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at Glendale Memorial Hospital & Medical Center, Glendale, CA 91204.
• Ability to work 4 days a week from 10:00AM – 9:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Support admissions, transfers and discharges with 24/7 operational needs.
• Update IT systems for Admits/Transfers/Discharges, maintaining 5-minute standards.
• Perform insurance eligibility and benefit verification.
• Assist registration with printing documents and coordinating with care teams.
• Notify payers of admissions and upgrades.
