Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 1-2 years in laboratory, healthcare and/or customer service.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with lab staff and hospital personnel.
• Ability to multitask and work accurately under time constraints and heavy workload.
• Demonstrates dependability, reliability, accuracy, prioritization, problem solving, customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Label, preservation and fixation of specimens.
• Work with technologists to ensure timely and accurate processing of specimens.
• Monitor reagent and supply inventory.
• Organize patient specimen and assay worksheets/printouts for testing and technologist review.
• Use LIMS to upload documents and input data or comments.
• Clean and maintain lab equipment.
