Job summary

The candidate will lift up to 50 lbs, use basic computer tools, and work collaboratively with staff to ensure accurate specimen processing. Schedule: 40 hours, weekdays, with rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or high school diploma required
• 1–2 years of laboratory or healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and distribute clinical laboratory specimens.
• Process specimens in the laboratory information system and prepare for testing.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, storage, and disposal.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laboratory area.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards including PPE and hazardous materials handling.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely specimen processing.
