Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Paralegal for a fully onsite role at our Support Center in Altamonte Springs, FL. The position supports the Legal and Risk Management Team, handling regulatory complaints, litigation support, and contracts tasks.

The role requires a four-year or two-year Paralegal degree and a minimum of four years of related experience. Death-care industry exposure is a plus. On-site work, M-F, with collaboration across leadership, attorneys, and staff.

Qualifications

• Four-year or two-year degree in Paralegal Studies.
• At least four years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Death-care industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a responsive resource to General Managers, Area Vice Presidents, and other leaders.
• Coordinate regulatory complaints, customer disputes, and other matters; gather facts and prepare responses.
• Engage with regulatory agencies under attorney oversight and avoid direct contact with client families.
• Own matters from intake to completion; follow up and communicate progress.
• Manage multiple matters and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management; support colleagues and share information.
