Job summary

Irving Tissue is seeking a Process Tech to operate stock, water, broke and chemical systems on the tissue machine. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with codes and safety standards, and close adherence to quality data while maintaining daily mill operations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and prefer candidates with paper mill experience, strong communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School or GED equivalent.
• Preferred: 5 years Paper Mill Experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills preferred.
• High attention to detail required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate stock, water, broke and chemical systems on the tissue machine.
• Work safely and follow site safety practices and procedures.
• Review daily quality data and act to return to standards within 24 hours.
• Assist in training Paper Mill employees.
• Maintain daily operations and production logs; plan improvements and outages.
