Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance/Commissioning Owner's Representative to manage large, high-profile construction projects with direct accountability for delivery. The role requires ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and in compliance with drawings and specs.

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate and you will lead site visits, review contractor submissions, and prepare risk and status reports while guiding teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions.
• Strong Excel/Office skills and numerical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and verify alignment with drawings.
• Review Developer submissions, including cost requisitions, budgets, and subcontracts.
• Prepare project status and risk reports and advise on construction fund releases.
• Evaluate budgets and coordinate with Cost Advisory for estimates.
• Review contract terms and ensure qualifications of contractors and architects are up to date.
• Oversee schedules, permits, and related regulatory milestones.
• Share expert knowledge and mentor others, driving best practices.
• Lead by example following CBRE RISE values and persuade at senior levels.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly to multi-discipline teams.
