Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer Owner's Representative Project Manager to lead the electrical scope of data center construction projects in Austin/San Antonio, TX.

The role emphasizes adherence to owner specifications, quality standards, and commissioning methodologies. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate, and you will work onsite with cross-functional teams to drive design, construction, testing, and delivery of critical electrical

Qualifications

• Ten years of electrical experience preferred
• Data center electrical design knowledge and experience
• Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA safety requirements
• Experience with medium voltage power distribution (AIS & GIS)
• Experience as Field Service Representative (FSR) or NETA testing agent preferred
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and control schematics and diagrams

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical scope for data center construction projects from design through commissioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and construction issues
• Assist in maintaining project schedule, budgets, and resource allocation
• Develop scope of work for electrical equipment portions and update configurations
• Interface with Global Commodities, manufacturers, and engineering teams
• Develop training and documentation for construction quality tools and processes
