Job summary

ClearBridge Technology Group seeks a Network Solutions Engineer to support a federal project onsite at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The role focuses on implementing and testing optical network infrastructure and turning up services with Ciena gear.

You will troubleshoot, validate, and integrate the network while coordinating with the customer for smooth transitions and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of telecommunications/network engineering experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Hands-on experience with Ciena networking equipment.
• Familiarity with NMS such as MCP/Navigator.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite SME support for implementation, testing, and modernization of optical network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues, perform service turn-ups and testing, and support integration with existing network environment.
• Work hands-on with Ciena equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
• Coordinate with federal customer on-site at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.
