Job summary

Johnson Screens is seeking an Operations Supervisor in New Brighton, MN. Lead teams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals under the Operational Excellence System. Reports to Manufacturing Manager and ensures efficient, compliant day-to-day operations on site.

Required: 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills. Onsite role with full benefits and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or manufacturing.
• 5+ years leadership in manufacturing with shift-level responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse workforce with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned work teams in alignment with True North.
• Foster a shop-floor culture focused on SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
• Ensure compliance with Quality Policy and procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment with HSE strategies and audits.
• Hold team members accountable via performance reviews and coaching.
• Secure and allocate resources to meet operational objectives.
• Plan and maintain effective work systems and standard work.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvement actions.
• Lead OES problem-solving methods and board meetings.
• Communicate clearly with teams about expectations and metrics.
• Motivate employees to meet deadlines and improve processes.
