Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an InSite Operations Manager II to oversee all site activities and manage the on-site staff at the customer location in New Jersey. This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations in a real-world environmental services setting.

You will lead a team, coordinate waste handling and logistics, and partner with the Site Manager to ensure service quality and client satisfaction. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Leadership and management experience
• Ability to lead on-site operations
• Proficient with Windows-based software
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass background check, drug test, and medical/physical as required
• Familiarity with safety regulations and OSHA standards

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety and enforce policies
• Oversee all site activities and manage on-site staff
• Print drum labels, manifests, and schedule waste pickups
• Assist with waste profiling and approvals
• Train technicians on labeling, inspections, and DOT shipping
• Ensure compliance through regular site checks and audits
• Collaborate with Site Manager on daily operations and regulatory compliance
• Support safety meetings and process changes
• Identify opportunities for additional technical services support
• Perform other duties as assigned
