Job summary

Moog Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a world-class printed circuit card assembly (CCA) operation within our Commercial Circuits organization.

This role demands hands-on leadership, disciplined operational excellence, and the ability to drive day-to-day manufacturing performance and long-term initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering or STEM or 4+ years of manufacturing leadership, 3+ years in production ops, strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM; OR 4+ years of professional leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of production operations or process development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work cross functionally with production, quality, engineering, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large team of supervisors, technicians, and associates on a multi-shift schedule.
• Ensure a strong focus on safety and maintain an excellent safety record.
• Build talent pipeline: Recruit, onboard, and develop leaders and associates.
• Create training/onboarding programs and career development paths to boost quality, reduce lead time/cost.
• Collaborate with engineering to startup & optimize CCA equipment & processes.
• Drive continuous improvement via metrics (yield, OEE, throughput).
• Report area status/risks to leadership and foster cross-department collaboration.
