Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Salt Lake City to lead a multidisciplinary site engineering team responsible for circuit card assembly (CCA) production. The role focuses on maximizing yield, throughput, and 100% quality within a lean, continuous-improvement culture.

You will drive process flows for SMT, through-hole, AOI/X‑ray, and in‑circuit testing, mentor supervisors and engineers, and collaborate across Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing/Engineering in electronics/CCA assembly.
• Experience with SMT, through-hole soldering, AOI, X-ray and ICT/flying probe testing.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis skills; familiarity with SPC, DOE, and process capability.
• Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 and ESD control practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop site engineering organizations and staff.
• Define and optimize SMT, through-hole, conformal coating, soldering, and testing flows.
• Drive root‑cause investigations and corrective actions for yield and reliability.
• Implement SPC, capability studies, DOE to improve process stability.
• Ensure compliance with IPC standards and ESD programs.
• Oversee equipment qualification, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues and drive program success.
• Support customer engagements, including technical presentations and proposals.
