Our Commercial Circuits team in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop a world-class printed circuit card assembly (CCA) operation. This is an opportunity for a well-rounded, hands-on leader with a passion for disciplined operational excellence to drive both day-to-day manufacturing performance and long-term strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring advanced operational expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to build high-performing teams that deliver exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic and evolving manufacturing environment.

This is an on-site, collaborative working environment that offers a 9/80 schedule to include every other Friday off! (Formal schedule is M-Th, 7:00am - 4:00pm, every other Fri 7:00am - 3:00pm)

To be considered for this Operations Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM discipline; OR 4+ years of professional leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of production operations or process development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work cross functionally with production, quality, engineering, and customers.

It would be great if you also had:

• Experience with CCA manufacturing processes including SMT, Select/Wave Solder, AXI, Conformal Coat, Flying Probe, and/or electrical test in a production setting.
• Experience standing up a new production line and bringing it to rate.
• Experience operating in an Industry 4.0 environment.
• Experience with applying lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing work environment.

As our Operations Manager, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for:

• Manage a large team of supervisors, technicians, and associates on a multi-shift schedule.
• Ensure a strong focus is placed on safety and maintain an excellent safety record.
• Build talent pipeline: Recruit, onboard, and develop leaders and associates.
• Create training/onboarding programs and career development paths to boost quality, reduce lead time/cost.
• Establish clear operational guidelines and foster a culture of ownership, integrity, and accountability. Collaborate with engineering to startup & optimize CCA equipment & processes.
• Drive continuous improvement via metrics (yield, OEE, throughput).
• Ensure root causes for quality issues are identified and appropriate improvement actions are put in place to prevent recurrence.
• Report area status/risks to leadership and foster cross-department collaboration.

• Shop Floor Manufacturing Environment.
• May require occasional travel to suppliers, customers, or other company sites (may include internation travel).

Salary Range Transparency:

Salt Lake City, UT $120,000.00-$155,000.00 Annually
