Moog Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of quality supervisors, engineers, technicians, and inspectors supporting Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) production. You will drive quality excellence, process reliability, and on-time delivery in a lean, continuous-improvement environment.

This on-site role offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will mentor staff, implement inspection plans,

Qualifications

• BS/education requirement: BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Electronics/CCA assembly.
• Experience with AS9100 quality systems.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and ESD control practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, purchasing, and customers.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities (SPC, DOE, and process capability).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site quality organization: supervise, coach, and mentor staff; manage staffing, performance reviews, and career development.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce quality control procedures, inspection plans, sampling plans, and inspection methods.
• Drive a culture of quality aligned with the quality management system and right-first-time mindset.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for yield, reliability, and field failures using structured problem-solving (8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys).
• Maintain compliance with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL/AS/ISO/AS9100 where applicable.
• Collaborate across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Design Engineering to resolve issues and drive program success.
• Support customer engagements, including failure analysis, technical presentations, and proposals; act as quality contact for escalations.
