RTX's Operations Engineering Specialist program offers an onsite co-op in Andover, MA, from January 2027 through June 2027, focusing on manufacturing process learning and innovative problem solving in aerospace and defense.

You will lead projects, analyze data, prepare reports, and present results while aligning with Six Sigma principles. The role supports Performance Excellence, Integrated Supply Chain, Hardware Quality and Production Engineering within RTX's aerospace ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor or advanced degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering, plastics engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering or applied mathematics, or related STEM major, enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Experience with project execution.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project tasks within a manufacturing environment.
• Perform data analysis to support continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support compliance initiatives and Six Sigma projects.
• Contribute to Six Sigma/Lean Yellow Belt certification efforts.
• Collaborate across Performance Excellence, Integrated Supply Chain, Hardware Quality and Production Engineering.
