Job summary

UCHealth Inv OrthoSpine Surg Ctr in Englewood, CO seeks a full-time on-site perioperative support role. You will help with safe patient flow, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and equipment handling in a fast-paced OR setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification, with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive rewards program. Role is dayshift, onsite only.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.
• UCHealth-administered basic competency test may be used in lieu of HS/GED.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and stores required equipment.
• Restocks linens and supplies.
• Assists as needed for transportation and preparation of patients. Transports blood products and specimens.
• Assists the Perioperative team as needed.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
