Job summary

Flourish Research in Birmingham, AL seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to support oncology trials onsite. The role requires healthcare experience, strong communication, and strict adherence to GCP and HIPAA guidelines. Monday–Friday hours, onsite, non-exempt, compensation $25-$30/hour.

Candidates should have a degree preference and familiarity with e-source platforms, CRFs, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have oncology clinical research experience.
• Minimum of two years of clinical research experience.
• Clinical skills: vital signs, EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, injections.
• Familiar with e-source reporting via an electronic platform.
• Know ICH, FDA, and GCP regulations.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute protocol-specified patient visits and procedures (phlebotomy, IVs, injections, vitals, ECG).
• Document assessments and study data per regs/GCP; maintain source data and CRFs/eCRFs.
• Obtain informed consent per regulations (IRB, GCP).
• Ethically recruit qualified subjects to meet enrollment timelines.
• Complete required training; attend investigator meetings; stay current with policies.
• Schedule and conduct visits per timeline.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and agreements.
• Report AEs promptly and SAEs to sponsor within 24 hours.
