Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week onsite contract in Brookville, OH. The assignment runs 40 hours per week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 9/28/2026 start date and a 13-week duration.

The OT will evaluate and treat patients, maintain records, report billing, and supervise support staff in a rehab setting, aligning with facility policies and Medicare/private insurance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Certification in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Association is required.
• State licensure in the designated geographic area is required.
• Demonstrates ability to lift, move and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for all patients on your caseload.
• Report billing information to the Director of Occupational Therapy.
• Provide direct patient care including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Interpret treatment results and communicate findings.
• Develop and present in-services for the facility.
• Supervise support personnel in the unit.
• Perform screens, evaluations, and treatment delivery per policies.
• Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
• Assist with community education and public relations activities.
• Educate patients' families and staff on treatment plans and goals.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

American Occupational Therapy Association certification

Licensed by the State

Ability to lift and transfer patients (up to 50 lbs)
