Job summary

WorkCare in Mojave, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver on-site care within the workers' compensation and injury care program. You will perform regulatory testing, provide acute care, and support wellness initiatives during regular day shifts.

The role requires CA RN license, BLS, and EMR proficiency. You will collaborate with the CMD and client teams, maintain records, and contribute to health and safety across the workforce.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN license in the state of California.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred.
• Must hold current BLS certification.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Certification in Occupational Health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid first aid and medical care for employees during on-site hours.
• Coordinate care with WorkCare's Injury Care program and use physician escalation services as needed.
• Provide episodic care for minor medical issues and medical consultations.
• Manage the Return to Work program and case management of work-related incidents.
• Support health promotion and injury prevention through education and ergonomic evaluations.
• Maintain medical records and clinic utilization reports.
• Assist with new-hire exams, fit testing, and wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with the CMD and Customer stakeholders on protocols and policies.
