Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a registered nurse to support Employer Health Services on-site at client company locations in the Midlands area. The role focuses on direct and indirect nursing care, case management, and coordination with physicians for work-related and non-work-related health issues.

Responsibilities include triage, health assessments, specimen collection for substance testing, and maintaining mandated records. Night shift availability and onsite clinic coverage are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required. RN license active in-state or multistate.
• Three years nursing experience or two in Occupational Medicine.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; occupational health nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and provide direct and indirect nursing care at client site.
• Perform basic first aid and coordinate with MD/NP evaluations.
• Conduct health assessments, document findings, and follow-up for work-related conditions.
• Assist with substance abuse testing, specimen collection, and reporting results.
• Administer occupational health testing (audiograms, vision, pulmonary testing) as needed.
• Maintain records compliant with state and federal mandates (DHEC, OSHA, JTC, NRC).
• Support onsite clinic operations and safety/employee health programs.
• Provide back-up nursing support for workers' compensation and related duties.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Three (3) years nursing experience or two (2) years in Occupational Medicine nursing
