Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine seeks a Physician Assistant to manage on-site clinical operations at the PepsiCo Phoenix plant. The PA will provide patient care, triage injuries, dispense medications, collect specimens, and coordinate care with PepsiCo partners and Johns Hopkins clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and NCCPA certification required.
• Licensed PA in the United States (state permitting practice).
• Current CPR certification.
• Maintain licensure and certification during employment.
• Additional education may substitute for experience per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site clinical care at the PepsiCo Phoenix clinic (40 hours/week).
• Triage and treat work-related and non-work-related injuries/illnesses.
• Dispense medications per standing orders.
• Perform specimen collection and urine drug screening.
• Coordinate care with PepsiCo and Johns Hopkins clinicians.
• Support DOT exams and workers' compensation processes.
• Deliver monthly health education seminars.
