Job summary

Johns Hopkins University in Colorado's PepsiCo Denver onsite clinic seeks a Nurse Practitioner to manage day-to-day clinical care and activities for employees at the PepsiCo clinic in Denver. The role reports to the Regional Manager for the PepsiCo/JHU partnership and collaborates with the Medical Director and Division Administrator.

The successful candidate will provide on-site care, preventive services, and health education while following Johns Hopkins protocols and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing; RN license and NP certification.
• Must be licensed in the state where practicing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Licensure/certification must be maintained during duration of employment.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services forty (40) hours per week at the PepsiCo clinic in Denver (Pecos), CO.
• Triage and treat minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Dispense over the counter and prescription medications in accordance with standing orders.
• Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees with lab orders.
• Perform urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing per company protocol.
• Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.
• Coordinate, plan, and deliver monthly health education seminars and general wellness events.
