Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for an onsite role at the UCHealth UCHlth Womens Care Rangewood in Colorado Springs. The position is full-time, days shift, with a 72-hour pay-period (2 weeks). Pay ranges from $20.26 to $26.34 per hour and is based on relevant experience.

This role does not offer a hybrid or remote option. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, MA certification or registration, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MA certification or registration required (or hire into MA title with 3 years MA experience or accredited program graduate).
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required and valid through 60 days after start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or provider.
• Gathers vital signs and specimens; communicates changes in patient condition.
• Keeps care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly; maintains equipment and supplies.
• Performs administrative duties including scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
