UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant for an onsite role in Gynecology General. The position is full-time with 80 hours per pay period and a day shift, paying $22.14–$28.78 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• BLS CPR for the Professional Rescuer through AHA or ARC with card valid through start date; must be valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
• Prioritize wellness and patient perspectives in care.
• Precept and mentor new staff and coordinate with ancillary team members.
• Maintain care area inventory, sanitation, and equipment.
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I)
• UCHealth will hire into a Medical Assistant title in lieu of a Medical Assistant registration or certification if a candidate possesses: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR is a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
