Job summary

Western Governors University seeks a part-time Instructor, Learning Lab to facilitate nursing learning and assessments in the on-site Clinical Learning Labs in Indianapolis, IN. Two shifts per month may be required, within Monday–Friday operating hours.

The role focuses on real-time teaching, feedback, and guiding students through basic nursing skills and simulated patient care scenarios using high-fidelity simulation.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in the lab location state.
• 2+ years of professional work experience.
• Subject matter expert in assigned content or practice area(s).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning and performance assessments in on-site Clinical Learning Labs.
• Teach basic nursing skills and high-fidelity simulation scenarios.
• Provide constructive feedback and professional role modeling to students.
• Coordinate with Lab Faculty to optimize lab utilization and costs.
• Plan staff schedules and assist in maintaining supply inventory.
