The position supports experiential clinical coursework in a remote/onsite environment, guiding students in group and 1:1 settings to ensure successful clinical placements.

The role involves mentoring students, applying innovative teaching methods, and coordinating with coaches and placement teams.

Formación

• Master's degree in nursing required and education verified.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Unencumbered RN license and active state licensure.
• State and federal requirements may apply to credentialing.
• Supports Health Placement Team to secure clinical partnerships.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a steward for WGU’s mission and strategic vision.
• Provide expertise in assigned content area with current knowledge.
• Supervise and evaluate students in clinical placements.
• Coordinate with coaches/preceptors on student progress.
• Use technology-based teaching and communication platforms.
• Submit electronic clinical student evaluations after clinical intensive.
• Collaborate with university professionals to promote student success.
• Respond urgently to changing requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant state regulations.
