Western Governors University seeks a part-time, intermittent Clinical Instructor (Hourly) to teach and mentor nursing students in clinical course work at an on-site Indianapolis location. This role requires coordination with clients, rapid assessment, and near-term relevance to clinical experiences.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Nursing, an active RN license, and at least two years of nursing experience, including teaching or supervising clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• Unencumbered RN license in designated state.
• Two years nursing experience and clinical teaching preferred.
• On-site Indianapolis work location; willingness to teach in a mixed remote/onsite environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor nursing students in clinical courses.
• Assess and document student performance and progress.
• Coordinate with coaches/preceptors and clinical facilities.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and program goals.
• Deliver in-person and remote evaluations of student learning.
