Job summary

Decypher is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary and specialty medical care in an onsite setting at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. Responsibilities include exams, diagnosing and treating conditions, prescribing medications, and promoting preventive care within approved protocols.

Requirements include an approved NP program, current NP certification, active license, U.S. citizenship, and 3 years of recent relevant experience.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program, with completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Current, Full, Active, and Unrestricted NP license in the applicable state.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
3 years' experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

Provide a full range of NP services in primary and specialty medical care within training and privileges.
Diagnose, treat, and counsel patients for acute and chronic conditions and provide immunizations.
Direct and teach other staff, provide educational lectures and training to staff.
Promote preventive care and health maintenance through education and counseling.
Prescribe treatment protocols and medications approved by committees.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure referrals and quality care.
