Strong mechanical aptitude and detailed instruction-following are essential. Candidates must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access and pass pre-employment tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Complete Nuclear Technician - Controls (2508) modular training and qualify on five instrument/controls systems.
• Demonstrate ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments.
• Aptitude for mechanical and technical work; keen observation.

Responsibilities

• Preplan and execute maintenance, construction, and testing tasks in electrical and instrument/controls areas to maintain plant operations.
• Perform common mechanical work to maintain plant operations.
