Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successfully complete the Nuclear Technician -Mechanical (1505) Modular Training Course.
• Have the ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments.
• Have an aptitude for mechanical and technical work.
• Have keen faculties of observation.
• Have oral and written communications skills necessary for performance of the work.
• Have a valid US driver’s license.
• Must meet nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
• A valid Real ID or approved alternate documentation by May 7, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, preplan and execute or perform maintenance, construction and testing tasks to maintain operation of the plant and systems.
• Perform common electrical and instrument and controls work consistent with training to maintain operation of the plant and systems.
