Job summary
Twenty80 LLC seeks an Infrastructure Network Engineer to operate as a dedicated onsite resource at a Houston client location. You will manage day-to-day network operations, troubleshoot complex routed and switched environments, document changes and drive improvements across the environment, with emphasis on reliability and security.
The role requires hands-on Cisco networking (OSPF/VLANs/CLI), VMware vCenter experience, enterprise wireless troubleshooting, and strong ownership of projects from
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive networking, infrastructure or field support experience.
- Advanced hands-on networking experience with OSPF, VLANs, and Cisco CLI.
- Experience with VMware/vSphere/vCenter and VM networking.
- Enterprise wireless troubleshooting experience required (Aruba preferred).
- Strong documentation, communication, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onsite networking resource for operations and improvement.
- Administer and troubleshoot routed/switched environments (OSPF, VLANs, subnetting, trunking).
- Investigate performance, DNS/DHCP, firewall handoff, wireless issues; coordinate remediation.
- Support VMware/vSphere/vCenter, VM networking, backups, and recovery validation.
