Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for on-site deployment and sustainment at Fort Meade, MD. You will support VPNs, firewalls, and routing, ensuring 24x7 availability within CSfC environments.

The role requires 7+ years of network engineering experience, active SECRET clearance, and IAT Level II certification. You will work with Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, and VMware platforms in a security-focused, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Active SECRET clearance and IAT Level II certification required.
• Knowledge of VLANs, routing, VPNs, PKI, DNS, and packet analysis tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN equipment.
• Plan, implement, and test software updates and disaster recovery operations.
• Configure network segments with a security-first approach.
• Document system status and support operations with clear reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software network problems and replace components.
• Monitor network performance and plan future changes.
• Collaborate with software, test, and operations teams.
• Provide 24x7 on-call Tier 3 escalation for network issues.
• Perform other duties to support the customer’s mission.
