Job summary

Thrive Life, LLC in American Fork, UT is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain our network infrastructure. This onsite role covers LAN/WAN, security awareness, and Help Desk responsibilities, with opportunities to work on cloud and hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of experience, a IT related degree, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and Microsoft 365. You will assist with projects, document configurations, and help end users on Windows and MacOS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years in Help Desk or Network Support.
Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching.
Experience with Windows 11 and macOS environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN and internet connectivity administration and monitoring.
Support switches, routers, wireless APs, and firewalls.
Troubleshoot network, wireless, VPN, and connectivity issues.
Monitor network performance using management tools.
Contribute to network upgrades, migrations, and hardware refreshes.
Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and SOPs.
Support cybersecurity initiatives and endpoint security.
Help end users resolve issues on Windows and MacOS.
Provision new IT equipment and peripherals.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
