Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree in IT, CS, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of hands-on experience in Help Desk, Network Support, or related technical roles.
Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
CompTIA Network+, Security+, or A+ certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with administration, maintenance, and monitoring of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and internet connectivity services.
Support network equipment including switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
Troubleshoot network, wireless, VPN, and connectivity issues.
Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools.
Assist with network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure projects.
Maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.
Assist with firewall configuration, VPN access, and endpoint security solutions.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve infrastructure issues.
Participate in disaster recovery, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
Support cloud-based technologies and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Help end users resolve technical issues on both Windows and MacOS
Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues
Provision new IT equipment (laptops, monitors, and peripherals)
Contribute to ongoing documentation and improvement of systems and processes
Maintains a clean and organized working environment
IT Asset Management by tracking all new inventory and service/repair activity
Train end-users in the proper use of technology and software
Assist in other projects as needed
